Amalekite babies, abortion, hypocrisy?

This is what the LORD Almighty says: 'I will punish the Amalekites for what they did to Israel when they waylaid them as they came up from Egypt. Now go, attack the Amalekites and totally destroy everything that belongs to them. Do not spare them; put to death men and women, children and infants, cattle and sheep, camels and donkeys.' " 1 Samuel 15:2-3

Hey, Christians, you really bang on a lot about abortion, so I'm just wondering how you justify Yahweh's order for men to kill (by the sword!) already-born babies, as well as children of all ages.

Best answer, posted by "Drbne":

Hey Atheist-Troll! (Yeah, I capitalized it, because the U.S. Supreme Court ruled Atheism is a religion).

I already answered your question with relevant scriptures, that wasn't just some irrational justification.

God wanted every Amalekite dead. Don't like it? Fine. But I wouldn't be on God's bad side.

In the future, just avoid trying to exterminated the Jews, and you won't end up like the Amalekites.

My response:

So you're saying that God gets to make all the rules, and that there is no external morality. If God says it's ok to slaughter babies, then it's ok. So your views on abortion are quite relativistic. If he said that abortion is ok, you'd apply for a job at Planned Parenthood.
